Bio: I am a survivor of mental illness, a phoenix who rose through the ashes of profound depression in the hopes of inspiring others to do the same. Formerly a newspaper reporter, I graduated from Aurora University in 2014 with my master's in social work. I also am a certified addictions counselor.
